Nigeria’s former Aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has described ministerial nominee, Adebayo Shittu, as a coward or a closet sympathizer of the sect.
Shittu, a Senior Advocate had said during his screening at the senate on Tuesday that he will not like to comment much on Boko Haram and their activities because he still has a family to cater for.
According to him, since the sect members have in time past killed anyone who spoke openly against them, there was need for him to be careful.
I don’t want to talk too much on this [Boko Haram] because I still have a family to take care of. ~Adebayo Shittu had said during the screening.
In his reacting, Femi Fani Kayode who took to his Facebook page to slam Shittu, calling him a coward or a Boko Haram sympathiser
The former presidential spikesman wrote ” I won’t comment on Boko Haram, I still have a family to take care of”- Honorable Minister- designate Alhaji Bayo Shittu. Bayo Shittu is either a coward or a closet Boko Haram sympathiser. Shame on him.”
