Breaking: Oscar Pistorius To Be Released From Jail

South African Paralympic star and convicted killer, Oscar Pistorius will be released from prison next Tuesday, sources revealed. Pistorius’ release comes about a year after he was sentenced to five years for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

According to local television stations ENCA and state broadcaster SABC said on their official Twitter feeds; Pistorius would be released from prison, to serve the rest of his jail time, under house arrest. 

Pistorius was found guilty in September 2014 of culpable homicide, the equivalent of manslaughter, after he fired four 9mm shots through a locked toilet door on Feb. 14, 2013 killing model and law graduate Steenkamp.

The former Paralympic star has served only a fifth of his five years jail term, for the death of his girlfriend, whom he admitted to shooting, under the notion that she was an intruder.
