Meet Kawu Sumaila, SSA To Buhari Who Jumped NASS Gate & Fought At The Assembly Complex

Remember the ruthless member of the House of Representatives who fought during the Aminu Tambuwal saga not just by scaling the national assembly fence, he wrestled some members in the Parliament.

He has now been appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari, meet the new SSA to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives, pictured) from his ‘gate climbing’ days .

Hon. Kawu Sumaila from Kano State was one the lawmakers who climbed the gates when a combined team of security operatives barricaded the entrance to the main complex of the National Assembly to prevent then Speaker Hon. Aminu Tambuwal from gaining access to the floor of the chamber last year.

Having successfully completed three consecutive terms in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Hon Kawu Sumaila contested for position of the Executive Governor of Kano State under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).
