As Ndoma-Egba, Clement Ebri, Jeddy Agba Others Defect To APC, Osibanjo, Oyegun To Storm C’River

All appears set for Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo , the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie Oyegun , would storm Calabar , Cross River State, soon to receive decampees from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and thousands of members of the party into the ruling party in the country.

It was gathered from reliable sources within the APC that the Governor of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Ibrahim Al-Makura and some members of the national executive committee of the APC will be part of the entourage that will receive the decampees ; among them some heavy weight politicians from the PDP.

THISDAY gathered from the sources that preparations are in top gear to formally receive the decampees at a rally billed for the UJ.Esuene Stadium, Calabar that would be staged on a day within the last week of August and the first week of September, this year when the state chapter of the APC will host the party’s south south zonal meeting.

Topping the list of those expected to decamp include the former leader of the Senate Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN); former minister of health and works Dr. Emmanuel Nsan, who served during the military regime of President Muhammadu Buhari ; former governorship aspirant of the PDP, Mr. Goddie Jedy Agba; activist and anti-corruption crusader , Chief Utum Eteng; and a former senatorial aspirant of the PDP, Chief Sam Bassey.

Third Republic governor of the state, Mr. Clement Ebri, whom sources said worked silently for Buhari during the build-up to the last general election, will formally be received into the party at the rally.
