Pope Francis, today donated money from the Italian church offerings to Nigerian families affected by Boko Haram activities in the north According to Vatican press.
In an admirable show of charity, ‘the Holy Father’ referred to the money as a “tangible sign of solidarity” to the affected families, adding that the Pope does not “forget their suffering,”. They didn’t say how much exactly he donated.
Barely a week ago, the pointiff hailed the bravery of Nigerian priests who have stood strong in the face of Boko Haram violence and worked to build bridges with the Muslim community.
