Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, Comrade Shehu Sani, has described the government of President Goodluck Jonathan as an affliction on the people of Nigeria.
Speaking at a sensitisation workshop in Abuja yesterday organised by the Buhari/Osinbajo Youths Support Groups as well as the Proud Talakawa Movement (PTM), he pointed out that in the last six years of the Jonathan government, the country suffered a catastrophe.
According to DailyTrust, Sani said for the past 16 years, what Nigerians witnessed has been the case of waste, of corruption, of mass murder of innocent citizens by the ineptitude and incompetence of the ruling party.
Sani said as a private citizen, he did his best to see how the government and Nigerians could bring an end to the Boko Haram insurgency.
“That informed my decision, in September 2011, to follow former President Olusegun Obasanjo, to the Boko Haram,” he said.
