Breaking: Boko Haram Terrorists Invade Ghanaian Community – Police

News reported by the BBC Hausa Service says Boko Haram Militants have invaded the Akim Ofoase town, an eastern Mulsim community in Ghana, West Africa..

The community leaders who narrated their ordeal according to the Police report say the insurgents have formed a group called Boko Haram circulating messages that contradicts the law. .

In a statement, Police said Muslim leaders have set up a group to penalise persons within the community that are part of the group preaching against Western Education.

Boko Haram a Nigerian terrorists group has crossed into Cameroon. The insurgents have killed over 7000 Nigerians since their assault against the Nigerian state started. They’re also responsible for abductions of over 500 women and girls in the Northeastern states of the country.

Cameroon’s Information minister yesterday say its army killed at least 41 Islamist militants as it fought off a wave of attacks along its border with Nigeria in an escalation in the conflict, the government said.

The Information Minister, Issa Tchiroma, disclosed this in Yaoundé on Monday. Tchiroma said that the coordinated assaults on five towns and villages showed a change in tactics by Nigerian Boko Haram fighters, who have focused on hit-and-run raids on individual settlements in the past.
