Musiliu Obanikoro Heads To Court Over Lagos PDP Primaries
Former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, has concluded plans to drag his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to court over his loss in the PDP’s gubernatorial primary election held in Lagos state.
In a series of tweets on his personal twitter account, the former Nigeria Ambassador to Ghana informed his followers on the micro-blogging site that he is heading to the court to seek redress because the 48 hours timeline stipulated by the PDP Electoral Guideline for aggrieved party members has elapsed without any response from the PDP electoral appeal committee.
The 48 hours timeline stipulated by the PDP Electoral Guideline to address our appeal has elapsed without a response from the party. #MO
