Breaking: APC Leaders In Emergency Meeting To Pick Muhammadu Buhari’s Running Mate

Leaders of Nigeria’s Opposition All Progressives Congress according to our sources in Lagos, say a meeting is currently held to decide who will work with General Muhammadu Buhari as 2015 running mate.

Buhari will be challenging incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan who on Thursday accepted his nomination as the PDP Presidential Candidate in the 2015 election with a pledge that he would not fail Nigerians.

At this point we are not certain who the candidate for Vice President will be, but sources claim the Former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi is likely to emerge GMB’s running mate.

The President also announced Vice President Namadi Sambo as his running mate again for the presidential election.

Former Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari got a total of 3,430 votes at the APC convention where he competed with four other aspirants of the party.

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) today at the APC convention in Lagos won the presidential primary to carry the party’s flag at the 2015 presidential election to be held on February 15th 2015.

The former Head of State grabbed about 3,430 votes being the majority of the votes cast to beat former Vice President Atiku, Rabiu Kwankwaso, current Governor of Kano State, Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, and Sam Nda-Isaiah, publisher of Leadership newspapers, to secure the bid.
