PDP National Chairman Shuns Ndoma-Egba’s Supporters

Supporters of embattled Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba Wednesday failed to get the attention of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, a?fter staging a protest at the Wadata House national headquarters of the party.

?The group had stormed the PDP headquarters to protest the outcome of the rescheduled ward congresses that was held in Cross River State on Monday.

But Mu’azu did not give them audience. The chairman instead addressed a delegation that arrived from Ebonyi State.

Incidentally, the Senate Leader had in a statement issued before the congresses declared that he and his supporters would not be taking part in the congresses, citing a subsisting lawsuit.

Ndoma-Egba had in the statement argued that taking part in the congresses would be sub-judice.

The suit was however, dismissed by a Federal High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Adeniyi Ademola on Monday morning, same day the rescheduled congresses held across the state.
