Van Gaal Confirms Falcao Has Sustained Fresh Injury

Colombian striker, Radamel Falcao has not played for Manchester United for the past month because of a calf injury and there is still no good news.

Red Devils manager, Louis Van Gaal has infact revealed that the striker will be out for two more weeks after he sustained a new injury. Speaking on Thursday night ahead of Saturday’s premier league encounter against Arsenal, Louis Van Gaal said:

‘No, he’s not available.

‘He has an injury and that takes time.

‘Now it’s four weeks already and next week he shall train with our selection and then he needs two weeks. It’s always like that.

‘It’s a pity, but players in football are injured.’

Falcao is on loan at Manchester United for big money and it is becoming doubtful if United will make the move permanent at the end of the season following the striker’s fitness concerns.
