Breaking: Scores Killed As Bomb Explosion Rocks Kano

A bomb has exploded in Hotoro area of Kano State according to eyewitness accounts, the bomb exploded friday evening while people were rushing to close for daily activities, he continued.

The fatal explosion occurred along Maiduguri road opposite NNPC fuel station in Hotoro area of Kano, killing several people and injuring others.

Other sources who spoke to NewsWireNGR say they heard the explosion followed by sporadic gunshots .

Eyewitness say the incident occured behind a fuel station opposite NNPC mega station in Hotoro which triggered the heavy gun duel .

“We heard heavy sounds, of the explosion which shook many buildings” said  Aliyu Yusuf, Hotoro resident and eye witnesses.

A combined team of soldiers and policemen were seeing moving in cavalcade, to the area, while rescue operation personnel were also dispatched to the area.
