Your Government Is A Failure – Wike Tells Amaechi

Minister of state for education and PDP governorship aspirant Mr Nyesom Wike has described Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s government as a failure. He said the governor’s monorail project was nothing but a failure, a death trap at best.
Wike said this in Port Harcourt on sunday while receiving elders, women and youths from Rumueme Kingdom, Obio/Akpor Local
Government.
He also said the old GRA in Port Harcourt has lost its glory under Amaechi’s neglectful eyes.
There is one death trap they call monorail. Yes, we know that one day, we must die, but with the monorail I am seeing there, I will not take such risk. The monorail is a death trap.
“Tell them to tell their children to go there (monorail) first. Look at the Old GRA; if you are driving in the night, you will see that it does not look like the Old GRA. The roads are bad and it shows that this government has failed.”
He then urged all the people present to make sure they get their permanent voter cards and vote out the All Progressive Congress-led
government in the state

He said Amaechi has a penchant for abusing elders and disrespecting traditional institutions in the state.
“Your voter card is the only power you have to ensure that you vote APC out and tell APC to pack and go. The APC is a drug that has been banned for many years.
“You must be armed with your voter card because without it, you don’t have the
competence to talk about who will be the governor and who will be the President.”

He then canvassed for support for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 elections noting that a PDP-led government will never forget them.
Chief of Staff, Government
House, Port Harcourt, Chief Tony Okocha in his reaction
said it was unfortunate that Wike could describe the monorail that would begin to
function in December as a death trap.
There has been a long drawn battle between Wike and Amaechi ever since the latter joined the All Progressives Congress (APC)
