BREAKING: Peter Obi Defects To PDP

Former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi has defected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)
Obi’s defection came after a powerful delegation from the PDP visited him. The delegation had former PDP national chairman Chief Okwesilie Nwodo, SGF Anyim Pius Anyim, Olisa Metuh, Akwa Ibom Governor,Godswill Akpabio, Abia Governor Theodore Orji, former Aviation Minister Kema Chikwe.
Others are the Deputy senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy speaker ,Emeka Ihedioha and senator Ben Obi.
Nwodo declared the intentions of the delegation when he told Obi“we are here to request you to join us in PDP and work with us as an insider no more an outsider.
PDP was founded by our own man, Dr. Alex Ekwueme and we started winning 80percent in the Southeast zone until such a time when we drew backwards but we believe that with you in our midst, we shall return to our winning spree. I now move a motion requesting you to here and now give us your word”.
