Code Of Conduct Bureau Orders Fayemi To Declare End Of Tenure Assets

The Ekiti state office of the Code of Conduct Bureau has directed Governor Kayode Fayemi to declare his “end of tenure assets” unfailingly before the expiration of his tenure. The Vanguard reports.

The directive was given by Mr. Akinfolarin Feyisola, Ekiti state Director of the Bureau.

Feyisola told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday that the directive also affected the outgoing deputy governor and other political office holders.

He said that it is mandatory for all public officers to declare their assets when they come into office and as they leave office and that defaulters will be made to face the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

Feyisola said that the affected officers have been duly informed and some have reported at the Bureau to collect their asset declaration form.
