The Ogun state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party has warned former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole from touring the party structures in the state. They said Bankole’s action was causing disunity within the party ranks and among party faithful.

The State Secretary of the party , Mr. Semiu Sodipo, wrote a letter to him, stating this position.

The letter dated September 12, 2014, was titled ‘Stoppage of Your Unapproved Tours/Political Campaigns.’

the National Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mua’zu and the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Prof Rufai Alkali were also served a copy of the letter.

The letter read in part, “This is to inform you that the party is being inundated with reports that your tour of some local governments is causing disaffection among party members and thereby creating disharmony and threatening the peace in the rank and file of the party membership.

what is this uneducated nuisance called Semiu talking about. because they are too BIG to move round all the wards and someone that has work to do is traversing all the wards – you call that dividing the party. If you have work to do you would join the moving train rather than make all things stagnant……Burujis houseboi
