Ronaldo To Demand £500,000 Weekly Wage To Rejoin Manchester United

In the past, we heard the rumors but now we know the truth. A year ago, rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo rejoining Manchester United from Real Madrid emanated but that was not to be and we assumed it was just another rumor.

It has now been revealed that the reigning World footballer of the year was on his way to joining Manchester United last summer but the deal collapsed as a result of his wage demands and the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson who he previously worked with at Old Trafford.

Last week, Ronaldo hinted he may be leaving Real Madrid next summer. Possible destinations for the Portuguese include Manchester United and Chelsea. Manchester United is however the most likely team to get back their former player but they must be ready to part with £500,000 weekly for their former talisman. Manchester United dishes out £300,000 weekly to Wayne Rooney and now, £390,000 weekly for their new striker, Radamel Falcao who is only a loan signing at this time.

If Manchester United gets really interested in Ronaldo next summer, they should be readying a £500,000 a week wage bill for the World’s number 1 footballer who would most likely demand a fee in that region. If the Red Devils face to pounce on the opportunity if it present itself, Chelsea will definitely be lurking around the corner as the Blues boss, Jose Mourinho and owner, Roman Abrahamovich have strong ties with popular football agent, Jorge Mendes who has Ronaldo as one of his numerous clients.
