Impeached Enugu Deputy Governor Redeployed to The Civil Service

The recently impeached Deputy Governor of Enugu State, Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi, has been redeployed to the State Civil Service.

Onyebuchi was in the State Civil Service before his appointment as the Deputy Governor of the State and has been subsequently returned to where he came from after being impeached by the State House of Assembly. However, it remains unknown what Ministry, department or Agency to which he was redeployed.

This development was confirmed to The Punch by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Sullivan Chime, Mr. Chukwudi Achife, confirmed in an SMS.

The text message reads, “Former Deputy Governor Onyebuchi has been redeployed to the State Civil Service where he was serving before being appointed to higher political offices.”
