Inter Milan Completes Medel Signing

Inter Milan of Italy has confirmed the signing of Chilean international, Gary Medel from Cardiff City for a £1omillion transfer fee.

The move for the Chilean has been anticipated all summer but is now official.

Former Chilean striker, Ivan Zamorano who played for Inter also is excited about the deal and has shown his support for the signing. He spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Football Italia) and here’s what he had to say:

“You’ll love Medel. Knowing Gary, I know he will do well in Italy.

I’m delighted he’s joined the team that will forever be in my heart.

Gary has something of the Paul Ince about him – that ability to be a leader on the pitch, and drag his teammates up a level.

He also reminds me of Cholo Simeone in that respect as well.”

The deal for the 27-year-old was first announced days back but has now been thoroughly finalized.
