Financial Misappropriation: Governor Jang Dismisses Allegation of Stealing N50 Billion

Governor Jonah David Jang of Plateau State has charged the press not to believe everything they are told  in the name of information, but as professionals, should investigate and get facts before publication.

Jang stated this Saturday while conducting journalists round the many ongoing  projects in the state.

The Governor, who also used the opportunity to throw light on the alleged misappropriation of SURE-P fund by his government, described the accusation as baseless.

Having toured round the project sites, Jang said, “I am actually wondering where to get the money to execute all these projects, somebody is somewhere telling me that I have stolen N50 billion. If I had N50 billion, by now, I would have since completed all these projects”, he said.
