Boko Haram Descend On Borno Community That Repelled Earlier Attack, 40 Vigilantes Killed

Dreaded Boko Haram Terrorists Saturday descended on Kalabalge, a community in Borno State whose vigilantes had repelled an attack by the sect killing and burnt down houses. The terrorists killed over 40 members of the Vigilante group.

Recall that a group of local hunters and youth in Kalabalge had ambushed a contingent of Boko Haram terrorists who arrived in the village to wreak havoc. The vigilante group killed scores of the militants.

According to reports coming from Borno, the B’Haram members numbering well over 500 invaded the village with pick-up vans and were able to overwhelm local hunters and vigilante members in the border town between Nigeria and Cameroon, killing scores.

Villagers who survived the attacks were said to have had fled to Cameroon to seek refuge.
