Another Bomb Explosion At Nyanya Bus Park

Another explosion has been heard at the Nyanya area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja weeks after the attack at the Bus station that left hundreds dead and several others injured.

“We are running for our lives as we heard the loud explosion, I cannot verify what happened at the moment, please I’d call you back” a resident on a telephone interview with newswirengr over the reporter explosion.

Human Rights lawyer, Abdul Mahmud tweeted” @AbdulMahmud1 Confirmed from eyewitness at Nyanya. Casualties reported.”

Mahmud wrote, Zuba park Nyanya bombed out. There are many casualties. Emergency services and police on ground evacuating survivors to local hospitals.

“I can confirm from police sources at Nyanya that the sad bomb attacks took place at Zuba park beside furniture market, Nyanya”.

Another resident of Kugbo a nearby community close to Nyanya, Mr Friday said there was a bomb blast and residents are confused, people running for safety.

“We  are also confused at the moment, what is happening in this country? barely two weeks ago a bomb in Nyanya and now it has happened again. What has become of us and our nation” He added.

No official statement over the incident reported at 8:pm Nigerian time but the bomb blast is coming barely two weeks after the abduction of the Borno School Girls in Chibok. The radical islamic sect Boko Haram did claimed responsibilities for the attacks that killed and injured hundreds.
