Nyanya Explosion: Atiku Calls For New Strategies To Deal With Security Issues, Demands Foreign Assistance

Nigeria’s Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has condemned the early morning bomb blast at the Nyanya Motor Park in Abuja.

Atiku who tweeted Monday wrote, “We urgently need new methods and strategies to deal with our security issues, including accepting foreign assistance.”

Eyewitness accounts say over 200 people killed by the bomb explosion but no official casualty figure has been issued, as victims have been moved to the Asokoro General Hospital.

He continued, “I am angered and saddened by the news of multiple explosions that occurred in Nyanya bus park in Abuja this morning.”

He added, “Join me in praying for the families who have lost loved ones in this incident. It is indeed a terrible tragedy.”

Meanwhile, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has also condemned the killings of innocent Nigerians.

Ribadu tweeted, “Yet another despicable and condemnable act of violence on the innocent and hapless populace. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims.”

    The Goverment has hand in all this crime going on killing innoncent people,the so called boko haram has never destroy any properties belong to the goverment and none of them has last their life or been attack by this boko haram it is so clear they are behind all this killing of innocent citizen of this country..money who na still yet who still dey kill nija people
