Senate President, David Mark Rules Defecting Senators Out Of Order

After weeks of intensified pressure to the Leadership of the Senate by defecting members of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Their hopes has again been dashed, as the Senate President David Mark, Tuesday refused to read the letters of defection of the 11 aggrieved lawmakers.
The Senators led by Bukola Saraki and 10 others were ruled out of order at the resumption of Plenary.
The Senate President has been accused of stalling the reading of the letters of defection of the 11 aggrieved lawmakers.
