Rooney Hopes For Top Four Finish

Manchester United forward, Wayne Rooney has confessed it would be a herculean task for his club to retain the premier league crown. Manchester United faces Fulham today and they are currently seventh on the log; 16 points behind league leaders, Chelsea.

“Realistically, top four has got to be our aim,” 

“Although we always want to win the league title, maybe it’s a bit too far. We know it’s going to be extremely difficult to win the title”, the English forward told BBC Football Focus

United have lost eight of their 24 league games this season as they have suffered a transition from the Sir Alex Ferguson era to that of David Moyes
